Defining Student Success

As a major initiative in the spring of 2006, of the FYE program facilitated a campus-wide exploration of the term “student success.” Typically, student success is measured by grades and retention statistics, but the First-Year Experience philosophy incorporates a much broader, more holistic range of measures.
