The following information should help you in taking care of the “business” that is required in order to get your ENGL 101 and/or ENGL 102 course up and running.
The English/World Languages (ENGL/WL) Office is located in the Instructional Lab Building (ILB) 239, which is also the Business/Computer Sciences Division Office. There you can find the Chair of the ENGL/WL Division, and a helpful support staff. Our Division Work Group is led by Terri Graham, Office Manager, and you will also want to Stephanie Lemghari, who can help you with typing, scanning, production of overhead transparencies, etc. (In short, they are a wonderful source for all sorts of information!) You will also submit grades here at the end of the semester.
Your mailbox is also here in ILB 239, as well as the copy machine, a computer that you may use, two printers, a scanner, and the fax machine. You will receive an access code for the copier and an e-mail account. A small kitchen, containing a refrigerator and a microwave, is also for your use.
You also have use of the part-time English faculty offices on the first and third floors, which have computers with Internet access, as well as phones. You will receive a phone number and voice-mailbox for student messages.
All printing (other than brief jobs that can be done on the office copier) should be done through the Print Shop, located in the main building. Forms for your printing order are available in the mailroom.
