Draggin’ ya baggage (gotta leave it there)

April Parker

Been together so long

Yet now I feel it’s time.

Let you pack your stuff

    And just go.

Now that it’s over

 Your baggage is still here

Got me carryin’ it like I’m doin

 Laundry 4 me and you.

Full of the intro to us to the endin’

     Feelings all tied up

Tears have leaked all out.

Thought once it was over

 Baggage wouldn’t stain me

   And I could move on

  Yet I’m finding myself

 Reflectin’ back to what was.

After I finally settled it as being over

I had come upon him.

As time ran through

Like doin overtime 4 work

I found myself carryin’

  Ya baggage around

In every situation.

Pieces of it pile up

And stain my house

 And the sidewalks

Lookin’ back the bag is rippin’.

Ain’t got no other bag to carry your stuff

People starin’ knowin’ I’m carryin’ ya loads

By the bitter but semi smiles on my face.

Draggin’ ya baggage, bagged ya baggage

Lettin’ it stain the streets all it wants

Cause it won’t be me carryin’ ya baggage ‘round

    No more

I gotta run elsewhere.
