HCC Developed Learning Objects
A short description. A learning object is an element of instruction which is computer-based and object oriented. It's a digital file that can be used and re-used to support and enhance student learning. They are resources that can be delivered over the Internet; therefore, any number of people can access and use them simultaneously. The benefits of learning objects are too numerous to mention in this statement, but here are a few:
Increased speed and efficiency of learning
Remarkable support for students with learning disabilities
The ability to clarify a difficult concept
Interactive learning
Distance learning
Assessment
